About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager / PJO to join our team at PT Sany Heavy Industry Indonesia, based in Tabalong South Kalimantan. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our mining operations, ensuring efficient and safe operations of our HE units and customer’s.

What you’ll be doing

1. Managing the overall operations of the mine site, including planning, scheduling and monitoring of all drilling and blasting activities
2. Developing and implementing operational improvement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
3. Overseeing the performance of the drilling and blasting teams, providing guidance and support as needed
4. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to senior management
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics and resources
7. Fostering a positive, safety-focused work culture amongst the site team

What we’re looking for

1. Significant experience (8+ years) in a similar site management role within the mining industry, preferably in the drilling and blasting segment
2. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
3. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal
4. Strong working knowledge of mining operations, including drilling, blasting, and related equipment and processes
5. Proficiency in interpreting and applying mining regulations and safety standards
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent people management and communication skills
7. Willingness to work in a remote mining location in Tabalong South Kalimantan
